Sony Ericsson Dishes Out Slew of Phones At Barcelona Mobile World Congress

Like Nokia, LG, and Samsung, Sony Ericsson also did come at the ongoing Mobile World Congress in Barcelona in Spain with slew of phones including the G700 and G900, which are designed as touch-screen organizers to help users keep contacts, calendars, notes, pictures, and Web sites all in one place. Available in Silk Bronze, G700 features one-touch full organizer functions; large 2.4-inches display with single-touch control menu; and 3.2 mega pixels camera -- among others, while G900, available in Dark Red and Dark Brown, has all the features of the G700 except for the camera which is a 5.0 mega pixels one with touch auto-focus and multi-shot functions.The UMTS 2100 and GSM/GPRS 900/1800/1900 phones will be available for consumers in the second quarter of this year. Sony Ericsson has also announced its new mobile phone which belongs to the Walkman series known as Sony Ericsson W980i, the phone promising users get the most out of their music. Known for its unique audio enhancing technology, superior sound quality that allows the users enjoy music, and Intuitive music access and control, the W980 Walkman phone features Walkman on top; intuitive music access and control, 8GB internal memory allowing storage of up to 8,000 songs; and built-in FM transmitter allowing users to send music on their phones to other devices. W890 has Clear stereo that enables the music to sound like the original recording. Its clear bass delivers distortion free sound even at higher volumes. The UMTS/HSDPA 2100 GSM/GPRS 850/900/1800/1900 W980 Walkman phone will be available for buyers in the third quarter of the current year. Additionally, Sony Ericsson has announced additions to its Cyber-shot range: the C702 Cyber-shot and the C902 Cyber-shot, and has launched its elegant clamshell phone, the Z770, and the XPERIA X1, Sony Ericsson's first handset to bundle the Windows Mobile OS. The company has also launched its first HSPA 7.2/2.0 devices with the ExpressCard/34 form factor -- the EC400 and EC400g at the Mobile World Congress. These phones will be available for customers in the 2nd or 3rd quarter of the current year respectively. The Head of Music Marketing, Sony Ericsson, Ben Padley said, “We wanted to design a leading music player that we could combine with a feature-packed phone, all the while pioneering an audio experience that always left you wanting more. The W980 will surpass all expectations.”

Class action against T-Mobile USA over texting services

According to RCR-Wireless: T-Mobile USA Inc. has been hit with a class action suit over alleged charges for text messages received by consumers who do not want the feature.The suit, recently filed in the U.S. District Court in Seattle, claims T-Mobile USA charges for text messages regardless of whether customers want the missives.“T-Mobile refuses to disable the texting messaging feature on its customers’ accounts, even when the customer has no interest in sending, or, more importantly, receiving text messages,” stated plaintiffs representing Maria Detwiler and others. “Moreover, T-Mobile requires each of its customers who have not subscribed to one of T-Mobile’s Messaging Value Bundles to pay for each and every unsolicited text message they receive.

Get your AdSense reports in mail!

You can get your AdSense reports in mail daily, monthly or however you want just in a few steps. To do this, follow the instructions given below. You should first create a custom report that will be sent to you via mail:

To create a custom report and save the template, follow these steps:

1. Log in to your AdSense account at http://www.google.com/adsense.
2. Visit the Advanced Reports page, under the Reports tab.
3. Select the date range that you prefer, any variation of channels or aggregate data and whether you would like to view page, ad unit or ad impressions.
4. Click Display Report.
5. Once your report has been generated, enter a name into the Save as report template box and click Save.

The report template that you have saved can now be accessed with one click from the Quick Reports section of your Overview page. Report templates are also displayed in the drop-down menu on your Advanced Reports page. You can delete a report template at any time by clicking the Edit list link on your Overview page.

We have our report template done so we can setup an emailable report now;

1. Under the Reports tab, visit the Report Manager page.
2. Update the frequency of the report you are requesting from Never to daily, weekly or monthly.
3. Choose your email address to receive reports or click the 'edit addresses' link above to enter another recipient. If you choose to add another recipient, just type their email address into the Edit email addresses box, making sure it is spelled correctly and click Save addresses. You will now be able to select that recipient from the drop-down menu.
4. Select the format of your report: CSV or CSV Excel. We will send your report as a Zip file.
5. Click Save changes and your report will be scheduled for emailing.
